Three major independent authorities in balance of power according to the constitutions are executive, legislative, and judicial.
The King has little direct power under the constitution but is a symbol of national identity and unity. The head of government is the Prime Minister. Cabinet members do not have to be Members of Parliament. The legislature could hold a vote of no-confidence against the Premier and members of his Cabinet if it had sufficient votes. |

| Climate |
| Thailand's climate is tropical, high both in temperature and humidity, and dominated by monsoons. From November to the end of February the climate is cool. This is also the main tourist season, and the best time to visit Thailand. |
